Moderna Mueet in Stockholm was established in 1958 on Skeppsholmen. The museum is still located on this island in the centre of the city, but as of 1998 in a new building designed by Rafael Moneo.
Moderna Museet features one of Europe's most distinguished collections of modern and contemporary international art, and presents three to five major temporary exhibitions every year. Entrance is free for all under 19 years.
