The Moderna Museet in Stockholm is located on the city island of Skeppsholmen in a building designed by the Spanish architect Rafael Moneo. In Malmö, the Moderna Museet is from the 26 of December 2009 found in an old former electricity station. It war originally designed by John Smedberg in 1901, but has been transformed into a modern exhibition space by the Tham & Videgård Hansson Architects firm.
