Planet Art - now everyone from 0 to 19 years old can show their work at Moderna Museet!

March 17 – June 10, 2012
280 m2 of gallery space is ready and waiting! Moderna Museet wants to show what kids and young people think is important, fun, interesting, and/or beautiful. Therefore everyone aged 0 to 19 are invited to show how creative they are in the exhibition Planet Art.
With this extensive investment in youthful creativity, Moderna Museet hopes to be overrun with the creations of young people. What gets exhibited will be determined by kids and young people themselves. Anyone 0-19 years old can choose one thing they have made themselves—a drawing, sculpture, object, painting, animation, video, photograph, or any other exciting piece that might be exhibited at an art museum. Moderna Museet will then install the works in the gallery space on the second floor.
Have you painted a painting, drawn a drawing, sculpted a sculpture, or built an object you think is exciting, good, or beautiful? Maybe you’ve photographed something, filmed a video, made an animation, or something else you want to exhibit. Haven’t done anything yet? Get started NOW and turn it in to us! You can be part of a fun-filled, hyped-up, jam-packed exhibition that will showcase all the fantastic creations of kids and young people in the year 2012.
Here’s how it works:
Feb 21 – Mar 11: submit your work to the museum.
Mar 17, 2 PM: Opening! All kids and young people are welcome — along with their friends, siblings, parents, grandparents, teachers, instructors, acquaintances, and everyone else.
