What is the gender distribution in Swedish art museum collections? Why is it like that? Do the museums differ regionally and for different kinds of assignments? On the basis of extensive statistics, scholars have examined the 20th century art at Göteborgs Konstmuseum, Malmö Konstmuseum, Norrköpings Konstmuseum and Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Meet some of them together with the directors of the respective museums in a discussion on gender structures, regional identity and collecting.
