The audioguide
NEW! The Queer audioguide
Queer theory analyses sexual identity and gender roles in a radical way and criticise normative heterosexuality. Anders Karnell takes you on a tour to look at art from a queer perspective.
Anders Karnell is the art editor of Nöjesguiden and former host of the Swedish TV programme Arty. He has collaborated with Moderna Museet for many years. In 2005, he introduced queer guided tours at Moderna Museet, which was the first museum to launch this activity. In 2008, Karnell invited pop artists to an Artist Talk Show at Moderna Museet during Europride.
In the Queer Audioguide he interprets works by Edvard Munch, Marcel Duchamp, Meret Oppenheim, Robert Rauschenberg, Carolee Schneemann and Tal R.
The Queer Audioguide is available in Swedish and English.
