Concerts with Eva Sidén in Double Bind Player
Double Bind Player has evolved from a musical starting point. The concerts during the exhibition period comprise a repertoire of pieces for piano and electronics, solo piano, and performance-related works. Several new works will be performed for the first time.
1 Sep, 3 pm: Concert opening. 4 pm: Performance by Eva Sidén of Lost in a Legend for grand piano and electronics, and first performance of her work Playing Double Bind/A Public Case.
2 Sept, 3 pm: Concert, first performance of Sidén’s commissioned work Beating the Disease, and Cage-related works.
4 Sep, 5.30 pm: Music Salon featuring special guest Magnus William-Olsson, poet.
5 Sep, 3 pm: Concert with self-composed pieces, including Playing Double Bind, Beating the Disease, and Lost in a Legend.
8 Sep, 3 pm: In connection with the Cage centennial celebration at the museum, Cage-related pieces will be performed and complemented by a discussion on John Cage.
