Our Family Sundays are for families with kids aged 3–18. Accompanied by one of our art educators, we start with a guided tour, before moving on to the Zone for a creative session. The first tour starts at 11.00, for kids aged 3–7. The second tour starts at 14.00 and is for slightly older kids and teens aged 7–18.

Price SEK 90/person. Maximum 5 tickets per party. Both children and adults need tickets.
This spring’s themes
Sunday 28 April: What is a home?
We explore the artist Rashid Johnson’s installation in the collection, “Seven Rooms and a Garden”. Then we work with clay in the Zone.
Sunday 5 May: See yourself in art
What would you look like as an artist? We study works by Bror Hjorth and think about what kind of artist we want to be. Then we create our own work of art in the Zone.
Sunday 12 May: Long legs and long caps
We explore the painting “The Enigma of William Tell” by Salvador Dalí. Back at the Zone, we use coloured pencils to experiment with making limbs longer and twisted.
Sunday 19 May: Comets and catastrophes
We make our own comets out of newspaper. Where will your comet land, and why? We talk about if art can be funny, and visit the exhibition “The Third Hand” in the collection.
Sunday 26 May: How do you feel about forests?
We visit the exhibition “Pink Sails” in the collection and discuss how artists have portrayed the forest and what it can represent. In the Zone, we create our own trees, based on our own experiences of forests.
Drop-in: Look, choose, show!
Explore different works of art and how they are displayed together! Visit the Study Gallery from 13.00, together with someone you like and choose between the gallery’s various screens with works from the museum collection.
In the Workshop, the whole family is welcome to make their own exhibition out of postcards. What art do you want to show?
