Majlis Agbeck

In her paintings and embroideries, Majlis Agbeck (b. 1948) creates peculiar worlds in which indecipherable animals are recurring motifs. Agbeck’s translucent image worlds, where gravity seems to have dissipated, are highly unique and unlike anything else. In the Right gallery, Majlis Agbeck will show about ten works that span the period 2004–2019, of which four are completely new and on display here for the first time.
