Malmö Gallery Night 2018

The Same Different at Moderna Museet Malmö features more than forty works from 1988 to the present. The exhibition allows the onlooker to follow the artist’s career from her feminist examinations of the 1990s to later works in which she addresses issues of animal ethics, artistic processes, and what art can be. It shows her enthusiasm for experimentation and the rich variety of expressions in her works, which include video, digital prints, drawings, ceramics, and large installations.

DJ Karolina “Pistolina” Wojcik, with previous engagements at The Roskilde Festival and the Swedish Radio P3/Din gata, will appear with her special mix of hiphop, funky and jazzy beats.

Open workshop “The drawn undrawn” 18–22
In this workshop children and adults create together. Inspired by Rosemarie Trockel’s artistry we will work together and create a large drawing, which is part textile, part installation. We will use thread as if it is a pencil, and use the room as if it is an empty paper. Those of us who wish, may knit with our arms. The result will be drawn but still undrawn. The workshop is held by Karin Granstrand.
