For all families who visit the museum with children, a “surprise bag” is waiting for the children to bring home. It contains a creative mission and materials to create with. With inspiration from the exhibition The Man with the Blue Face.
The exhibition The Man with the Blue Face is bursting with bold colour choices and powerful brushstrokes. The artists of this time did not think they could convey enough what they saw, felt and experienced just by painting something as it looked. They wanted to paint all that which is not visible but feels inside, and it was with the help of the colour they tried to bring out and strengthen the feelings.
