Warhol and Polaroid
Special guided tours with the museum´s conservator of photographs
8.9 2019 – 8.9 2019
Malmö
Andy Warhol was a committed user of Polaroid products, in particular the outrageous, cumbersome and toy-like camera called the Polaroid Big Shot. This portrait camera was the perfect vehicle for creating the source material that Warhol in turn used for his celebrity portraits on canvas.
On the final day of the exhibition, the museum’s conservator of photograhs, Teresa Mesquit, will give two special guided tours.
Please note that the presentation is held in English. Limited number of seats. Please pick up your ticket at the reception just before it begins. Free admission.
