Stop motion workshop
Set your creativity free during the autumn break!
29.10 2019 – 1.11 2019
Malmö
“My story begins when I became a tree, a forest, a mountain, a fish. Maybe I’ve always had nature deep within me; arms that are like branches, the water in my eyes, the stillness, the strength, the speed.”
Now that I’m a tree; what am I thinking? What do I like to do? What have I heard and seen? Now that I’m a fish; do I live in the sea, in a river or maybe in a glass bowl? Now that I’m a mountain; am i big? High? Wearing snow?
The thoughts and words above are from the artist Bahareh Mirhadi. Together with her and the museum’s art educators, we will tell stories with words, images and moving images. We use our exhibition “Sensing Nature from Within” as inspiration, and make our stories and films with stop motion technique.
Some of the films created during the workshop will be shown here at Moderna Museet Malmö later this fall.
