Time: At 17.30 Welcome by Elisabeth Millqvist, Museum Director Moderna Museet Malmö, followed by a short introduction by the curators Andreas Nilsson, Moderna Museet Malmö and Christian Skovbjerg Jensen, Museum of Contemporary Art Roskilde – in the presence of the artists.
Kafé Verket will be open with bar and DJ Digge Shim.
The opening will be followed by an opening party at Inkonst, Bergsgatan 29, at 20.00 – 01.00 with artists Annika Kahrs and Emeka Ogboh, among others, participating in “The Sound of”.

With the exhibition “The Sound of”, Moderna Museet Malmö and Museum of Contemporary Art Roskilde draw attention to the increasingly prominent role of sound in contemporary art. In a collaboration spanning Malmö, Roskilde and Frederiksberg, eleven international artists explore the poetic, spatial and political possibilities of sound through installations, video works, performances and text-based works.
