In the ongoing exhibitions Sensing Nature from Within and Merike Estna: Ghost of the future, with memories from the past, we encounter a variety of marine organisms on paintings and on film.
Together we move to the sea, to its depth and to the more superficial coral reefs. The world beneath the surface is enchanting and full of color; It is difficult to know where fantasy and reality begin and end. They seem to slip into each other. In Verkstan we do not set a boundary between fantasy and reality when we paint with inspiration from the exhibitions. You can either work individually and/or create underwater creatures for our “aquarium”. Welcome to a world of jellyfish, starfish and bobbit worms!

Time: Drop-in between 11.15–15.00 at each occasion.
Place: Verkstan at Moderna Museet Malmö.
Age: For everyone from 4 years of age and up.
Tickets: Children are welcome in the company of adults.
Drop in, limited number of seats.
