Experimental Weavings

The modernistic and political weavings by Hannah Ryggen, that was presented in the exhibition Weaving the World from 31 October 2015 to 6 March 2016, raised many questions and thoughts within the 15 year old pupils. They worked thoroughly with the pedagogical material provided by Moderna Museet Malmö, and then they started to work with expressing their point of views, their feelings and interests into weavings of their own.

A small selection of all the weavings created by the pupils are exhibited at Moderna Museet Malmö the whole summer.
