Miniworkshop – Do it yourself!

Easter Break at the museum

19.4 2025

Malmö

During the Easter break, we paint outdoors and let nature become a part of the artwork! We are inspired by the way artist Vivian Suter works.

Create abstract designs with vibrant, pigmented crayons and pencils. Let chance decide by rolling a dice! Each number on the dice corresponds to a “command,” like “draw circles,” “one pencil in each hand,” or “switch colors.”
You can also make an “instant book” in a simple way. Instructions will be provided, and our art educator will be there to assist if needed!

About Vivian Suter

Vivian Suter lives and works in Panajachel, Guatemala. The surrounding jungle is her studio. It was during a trip in 1982 that she fell in love with the place and decided to move there. She bought a piece of land, which had previously been a coffee plantation, by Lake Atitlán. Since then, her painting has been a collaboration with the surrounding nature – you could say that nature is a co-creator in her work.
