Join us for a special music-tour of the exhibition “Moki Cherry – A Journey Eternal” with Elena Wolay, music journalist.

Moki Cherry’s art fulfilled many functions, often in close relation with music – her art became concert scenography, concert clothes, music posters and album covers. 

Since 2011, Elena Wolay has run the platform “Jazz Är Farligt” (Jazz is Dangerous) and has been described as one of the most driving forces for Sweden’s alternative music scene. Currently, Wolay works for the city of Malmö and as curator during 2022 and 2023 for the music program at Uppsala Art Museum. Recent curatorial projects include “Sun Ra” at Mellanrummet, Malmö Konsthall (2021), Åke Hodell, Malmö Konsthall (2022) and Åke Hodell “220 Volt Buddha” Kalmar Art Museum (2022). Wolay participated as an artist in the group exhibition “File under freedom” Bergen kunsthall (2022).
