During the last Saturday of the exhibition “The Classroom”, a selection of Karol Radziszewski’s film and video works will be shown. Watch five films that explore the artist’s long-standing focus on queer archives, pedagogy and artistic practice. The film programme will be introduced by Hendrik Folkerts, curator of “Karol Radziszewski – The Classroom”.

Karol Radziszewski’s film and video works form a central part of his broader practice of archival research, painting, performance and publications. Radziszewski uses film as a place where biography and archive can meet to allow the lived present to emerge – something that, like queerness, is always in motion.

In the films “Se nikdo nedoví/Nobody’s Gonna Know” (2024), “Mon chéri Soviétique” (2021), “Afterimages” (2018), as well as “Kisieland” (2012) and “America Is Not Ready For This” (2012), Radziszewski deepens his long-standing work with queer stories from Central and Eastern Europe, highlighting both repressed stories and the everyday living conditions in which these stories take place.
