Moderna Museet has one of Europe’s foremost collections of international modern and contemporary art. The exhibition presents examples of works that were acquired by or donated to the museum in recent years, at the same time interrogating what it means to collect.
Today, Moderna Museet’s collection encompasses some 6,000 paintings, sculptures and installations, circa 25,000 watercolours, drawings and prints, 400 video pieces and films, as well as about 100,000 photographs.
