Friends of Moderna Museet welcome you to a rewarding social network around an internationally unique art collection. As a Friend of the Moderna Museet you get invitations to a variety of activities, special offers and many valuable benefits. And you always have free admission to all exhibitions at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm and Malmö.

Here’s everything you get as a member of Friends of Moderna Museet:

  • Free admission to all exhibitions at Moderna Museet in Stockholm and Malmö, Arkitektur- och Designcentrum, Gripsholm Castle, Färgfabriken and Wanås Konst. Also to Astrup Fearnley Museet for Moderne Kunst and all Nasjonalmuseet museums in Oslo.
  • The members’ magazine published three times a year, and special subscription rates on other art magazines.
  • Admission to the Tuesday Club at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, our exclusive programme of events, special guided tours, lectures, and more. In Swedish.
  • Invitations to previews and openings at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm and Malmö.

Membership Fees

Membership in Friends of Moderna Museet can be for individuals or couples (two people with the same address). Membership is for one year, three years or life, from the month when you join. You can also give a membership as a gift (gift membership).

One-year membership

Single membership: SEK 480
Couples: SEK 700
Under 30s: SEK 250

3-year membership

Single membership: SEK 1,300
Couples: SEK 1,900

Life membership

Single membership: SEK 9,600
Couples: SEK 14,000

Are you waiting for your membership card?

You get it in the mail within ten days of purchase. While waiting for the card, it is you are welcome to visit the Moderna Museet upon presentation of identification.
