Dalí Dalí featuring Francesco Vezzoli

Stockholm 19 September 2009 - 17 January 2010

Salvador Dalí (1904–1989) is one of the most popular 20th century artists. In his quest to merge life and art, Dalí was a trail-blazer for today’s artists and their intimacy with the media world. Dalí is the prototype for the artist celebrity – a universal artist with a passion for science, fashion, film, design and popular culture in general.

Clay Ketter was first acknowledged for his Wall Paintings (1992-99), plasterboards with spackle over screws and joints. They were both strikingly beautiful abstract paintings and a sort of fabricated ready-mades, less finished than the wall they were hung on.
