What’s hiding in your pocket? A key, a stone, a receipt? Together with the artist Anna Brag, we transform the small things of everyday life into grand wall drawings. You begin by sketching your find on paper, then enlarge the image using an overhead projector, so you can draw it on the wall. We’ll fill the room with lines and shapes that stretch across corners and surfaces.
No previous experience is required – just curiosity and a desire to draw. For those with empty pockets, there’s a box of extra objects to choose from.

About Anna Brag
Anna Brag (b. 1965) explores space and spatiality through drawing, painting, and animated film. She highlights different stories, both serious and humorous, often set in everyday life and the home. She draws her rooms – kitchen, hallway, bedroom – casually untidy, with a distinct black line.
About Bästa Biennalen
With almost 100 art venues in southern Sweden, Bästa Biennalen is the country’s largest network for children and young people’s encounters with art and creativity.
Bästa Biennalen organizes, among other things, the Best Festival – Sweden’s largest art festival, where children and young people create directly with artists and educators. This year it happens from 25 October to 2 November.
Bästa Biennalen is a regional investment in children’s and young people’s encounters with art that started in Skåne in 2013. Since 2021, organizers in Region Halland, Jönköping County, Kronoberg, Kalmar County and Blekinge have also been included, through Regional Cooperation South Sweden. The activities are mainly financed by the respective regions and the Cultural Council (Kulturrådet).
