Curator’s Tour

Moderna Museet Malmö presents two parallel exhibitions: “Deborah Turbeville – Photocollage” and “Ikram Abdulkadir – Soft Focus.” The exhibitions are shown side by side on Floor 2 and, each in its own way, take fashion and portrait photography as their starting point. In both artists’ work, people are at the center—captured in images marked by presence, atmosphere, and a sense of timelessness.
The curator of the exhibition “Deborah Turbeville – Photocollage” is Nathalie Herschdorfer. The exhibition is organized by Moderna Museet and produced by Photo Elysée, Lausanne, in collaboration with the MUUS Collection, New York.
The curator of the exhibition “Ikram Abdulkadir – Soft Focus” is Anna Tellgren, curator and head of the photography collection at Moderna Museet.
