Discover a variety of artistic techniques, explore the many possibilities of the pencil, and enjoy a unique encounter with the art at Moderna Museet. Together with the museum’s art educator, the artist Klara Wirsén Suchowiak, you’ll experiment with different drawing methods and find inspiration in the exhibition “Yet Another Morning – Drawing in the Moderna Museet Collection”.

This art workshop is a chance to develop your observational skills, practise your drawing, and be inspired by the collection exhibition “Yet Another Morning – Drawing in the Moderna Museet Collection”. Whether you’re just starting out or already confident with a pencil, join us for a Saturday full of creativity, new ideas, and artistic fun!

PROGRAMME

10.00 Museum opens: We meet at the main entrance on floor 4, where you’ll show your ticket to the course leader.
We begin the day in the exhibition “Yet Another Morning – Drawing in the Moderna Museet Collection”. Art educator Klara Wirsén Suchowiak will introduce a selection of works, and we’ll try out different drawing exercises and techniques. Approx. 60 minutes.

11.00 In The Workshop, floor 2
After the exhibition visit, we head down to The Workshop 2 for a relaxed, in-depth session where you can continue creating.

12.00 Lunch in The Workshop
A table will be laid with hearty sandwiches, fruit, coffee, tea, and sparkling water. You’re welcome to continue drawing during lunch if you like.

After a group wrap-up, the course concludes.
