About The Art of Collecting
The exhibition “The Art of Collecting – Expanding the Moderna Museet Collection” features works by over 35 contemporary artists, ranging from photography and sculpture to painting and film.
The exhibition explores questions such as: Who decides which art we get to see? Whose stories get to be told?

Moderna Museet Youth Council
Moderna Museet’s Youth Council was launched in spring 2020 as a way to increase young people’s influence on the museum’s activities. The Youth Council consists of ten young people aged 16 to 23. Its aim is to capture young perspectives on Moderna Museet and incorporate their ideas into the museum’s work.
Members of the Youth Council get to explore the museum and reflect on, for example, exhibitions, texts, and the museum’s various digital channels.
