Holiday event and drop-in workshop

All children from 4 and upwards are welcome to the Workshop for activities during the school holiday. We start with a tour of the art in the Museum (in Swedish): we look at Fahlström’s paintings in the exhibition Manipulate the World, followed by a Workshop session. Welcome!

One of the artist Öyvind Fahlström’s influences was comics, and he wanted his art to be mobile and variable. So his painting consists of elements that can be moved around to tell a story or play a game. We take inspiration from Öyvind Fahlström and make our own movable art in the Workshop.

During the holiday event we also have a drop-in wokshop where you can paint and draw. You can drop in without going on the guided tour, and we use simpler techniques and materials, such as paint and crayons. There are no themes – it’s an open painting and drawing workshop.

Age: From 4 and up, in the company of an adult
Ticket: Tickets for holiday activities are available at the admission desk the same day.
Price: Children have free admission and can bring one adult for free to the holiday activities.
