“Stockholm Slides” (2025) was created especially for Moderna Museet by the artist Carsten Höller, known for his playful and interactive works. Carsten Höller, born in Belgium in 1961, currently lives in Stockholm, Ghana and Italy, and is represented in Moderna Museet’s collection with, among other works, the large mushroom sculptures “Giant Triple Mushroom” (2012).

Moderna Museet’s Director Gitte Ørskou and the artist Carsten Höller inaugurate “Stockholm Slides”.
Premiere ride on the slide!
Everyone who wishes to and is taller than 130 cm can ride “Stockholm Slides” free of charge. Entry to the slide is via the terrace on Floor 4 until 16.45.
Drinks and canapés
Between 13.00 and 14.00 we offer non-alcoholic drinks and canapés in the Foyer. First come, first served.
Please note: In case of rain, the slide will be closed.
