In the film Taikon we encounter a profound portrait of one of our most beloved writers and commentators. The autobiographical books about Katitzi did Katarina Taikon one of our most read and beloved children’s author.

A lesser known side of Catherine Taikon work is the struggle she brought for the Roma Civil Rights in Sweden during the 1960s and 70s. We follow a fascinating life story during the years when the welfare state grew and a group was left out – the Roma.

Script and direction: Lawen Mohtadi and Gellert Tamas.
