Discover the exhibition “Begin Again, Begin Again” during its opening weekend. On Saturday, 10 May 2025, curator Asrin Haidari will introduce the exhibition and the film installation “Floating Sea Palace” by Lap-See Lam, which also includes textile works by Kholod Hawash.

“Floating Sea Palace” is a further development of the plot in “The Altersea Opera”, which was presented in the Nordic pavilion during the 2024 Venice Biennale. The installation is about transformation, shifts in meaning and an unachievable dream of returning to a home that is in constant flux. The main protagonist is the Cantonese mythological figure Lo Ting, who is half fish, half human.

The exhibition also includes Kholod Hawash’s textile artworks, as well as parts of the environment from the pavilion.
