Spend time together and create – right in the heart of the art! Join us for three hours filled with creativity. We will try out different techniques, do short and fun exercises, and let ideas flow freely.

Studio Social is a new monthly activity for Moderna Museet visitors aged 15 to 23. Together, we explore the museum’s collection or a temporary exhibition, chat, and create in a vibrant, creative environment. Together we will take part in short, creative exercises that make space both for meeting one another and for getting ideas flowing.

On Saturday 30 May we will be joined by the artist Olle Halvars to try screen printing in a DIY spirit. Cut, tear and print on all kinds of fabric! Olle Halvars will show you how to create a layout, make a stencil, and produce your own textile print. Bring a garment you would like to print on, or print on fabric and patches available on site. A sewing machine will be available to use.

All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required.
