The symposium want to set up a discussion that critically reflects current notions of ethics in several contexts related to the cultural field:
-Is there something like a good censorship?
-How can we define the fine line between ethics and morality?
-How far can provocation in art go, before it becomes cynical and abusive?
-To what extend are ethical decisions a category in participatory art?
-What is the relation of violence and provocative exploitation in popular media images and art?
