Join a creative workshop and be inspired by the art in Moderna Museet’s exhibitions! Together with art educator and artist Nina Blom, we will paint and explore the works in the exhibition Late Picasso.

Explore the museum before it opens and experience the art in a calm and relaxed setting, together with Nina Blom, who will guide you through “Late Picasso”. During the tour, you will try out creative methods and exercises – a playful way to engage with the art and discover your own forms of expression.

After the tour, we continue on to the Workshop, where the creative process unfolds in a more in-depth session. Here, you will have plenty of time and space to experiment with ideas, methods, and techniques inspired by the paintings encountered in the exhibition.

We begin in “Late Picasso” with a guided tour while the museum is closed to the public.

10.00

An in-depth workshop and creative session in the Workshop, led by the museum’s art educator, Nina Blom. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be served during the activity.

12–12.30

We conclude with a group session in which we present what has been created and discuss the day’s workshop.

Sena Picasso

“Late Picasso” is the first major presentation of Pablo Picasso at Moderna Museet in more than thirty years. Here, the artist appears in his last years – from 1963 until his death in 1973.

The exhibition brings together approximately fifty paintings and thirty works on paper. Alongside loans from other collections, the exhibition also features paintings and prints from Moderna Museet’s own holdings.
