“Non-assertive writing! / Scrittura non assertiva!”

“Non-assertive writing” is the Italian poet Marco Giovenale’s term for distinguishing between different forms of writing without resorting to already stale or depleted categories. It is within the framework of this open and critical determination of an exploratory literature, in a field where disparate aesthetic and political categories are intermingled and transformed, that Marco Giovenale and the five other Italian poets – Mariangela Guatteri, Simona Menicocci, Fabio Teti, Silvia Tripodi and Michele Zaffarano – who participate with readings and discussions at Moderna Museet are working.

Two events organized by Jörgen Gassilewski, Cecilia Grönberg, Jonas (J) Magnusson and Gustav Sjöberg from OEI magazine. With thanks to Italienska Kulturinstitutet i Stockholm.
