What happens when opera, sound, and painting come together? Join us for a playful tour inspired by artist Katalin Ladik’s wondrous world of sound. On site is opera singer and educator Sara Eriksson Stern, who will lead you through a vibrant workshop filled with scores, snail arias, and colour!

Sara Eriksson Stern is an opera singer and educator who works with opera and theatre at Unga Operan. She enjoys playing with opera’s structure, with all its historical formality and perfectionism, while discovering new ways to tell stories through the emotional expression of the human voice.

In the workshop, we explore our personal voice and how the sounds we create can enhance and expand the experience of art — both for ourselves and for the viewer.
