Guided tour

11.11 2023

Stockholm

Join us for a guided tour of the exhibition “Lotte Laserstein – A Divided Life”. On the opening day, the Laserstein expert and exhibition co-curator Anna-Carola Krausse will guide us and tell us all about the artist Lotte Laserstein and the featured works.

The German-Swedish artist Lotte Laserstein (1898–1993) is now considered to be one of the great 20th-century realists and is one of the most exciting rediscoveries on the art scene today. In “Lotte Laserstein – A Divided Life”, Moderna Museet presents the largest exhibition to date of Lotte Laserstein’s art in Sweden and the Nordic region.

Hear the exhibition’s co-curator Anna-Carola Krausse on the opening day, in a guided tour about Laserstein’s life and work.

Anna-Carola Krausse

Anna-Carola Krausse is a Berlin-based art historian. After her PhD she initiated and curated the first retrospective exhibition on Lotte Laserstein in Germany in 2003, which contributed significantly to the rediscovery of the artist in German-speaking countries.

Since then, Krausse has focused on nineteenth- and twentieth-century art as an author and as an exhibition curator for museums in Germany and abroad.
