Pamela M. Lee is Professor in Fine Arts at Stanford University and author of the book on Öyvind Fahlström’s Monopoly games, published in connection with the exhibition “Manipulate the World”. The conversation will revolve around Öyvind Fahlström, Manipulate the World and Lee’s ongoing research. Fredrik Liew is Curator at Moderna Museet.

For over two decades Lee has worked with re-thinking post war art- and cultural history with books such as “Chronophobia: On Time in the Art of the 1960s”and “New Games: Postmodernism after Contemporary Art”. Lee is currently working on a new book with the titel ”Think Tank Aesthetics: Mid-Century Modernism, The Cold War and the Rise of Visual Culture”.
