During Stockholm Culture Night 2022, we open the doors to the museum all evening until midnight. Join guided tours of the exhibition “Swedish Acquisitions: Insights” and experience the Moderna Museet Collection at your own pace.

Guided tours

“Swedish acquisitions: Insights” shows 34 artists whose works were purchased in 2021 after the government allocated SEK 25 million to Moderna Museet to support the Swedish art sector in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic.

See artworks intertwined with everyday life; which depicts difficult life events, the importance of the home and paths to healing.

MODERNA MUSEET COLLECTION

During the evening, our collection is open for you to freely discover. Meet our world-famous goat, Monogram (its official name) by Robert Rauschenberg and see key works by the most prominent artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Film Club

On the same day as Kulturnatt Stockholm 2022, the Film Club shows the 8-hour-long film “The Work and Days (of Tayoko Shiojiri in the Shiotani Basin)” (2020) by Anders Edström and C.W. Winter. The film is shown throughout the day with several breaks.
