Stockholm Culture Night 2022

23.4 2022

During Stockholm Culture Night 2022, we open the doors to the museum all evening until midnight. Join guided tours of the exhibition “Swedish Acquisitions: Insights” and experience the Moderna Museet Collection at your own pace.

Guided tours

“Swedish acquisitions: Insights” shows 34 artists whose works were purchased in 2021 after the government allocated SEK 25 million to Moderna Museet to support the Swedish art sector in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic.

See artworks intertwined with everyday life; which depicts difficult life events, the importance of the home and paths to healing.

The guided tours are about 30 minutes.

During the evening, our collection is open for you to freely discover. Meet our world-famous goat, Monogram (its official name) by Robert Rauschenberg and see key works by the most prominent artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
