Skeppsholmen day has taken place since 2000 and this year Moderna Museet invites you to listen to the Röstjärn choir sing outside the exhibition “Monica Sjöö: The Great Cosmic Mother”. The exhibition has free admission all day.
Röstjärn
Röstjärn was formed in 2006 at the Skeppsholmen island, and the choir sings music from all parts of the world in a variety of languages and with a wide range of genres and cultural expressions.
The choir is led by Hans Rising, long active as a music pedagogue at Skeppsholmen preparatory vocational school.
The performance at Moderna Museet connects to “WEEK OF ACTION – for social and climate justice”, and takes place in front of the banners outside the exhibition “Monica Sjöö: The Great Cosmic Mother”.
