The Education Department at Moderna Museet is presenting a joint project with the Art Department at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design.
The project, the result of co-operation on equal terms between an art museum and an art college, blends together art and pedagogy: pedagogues participate in the artistic process and artists participate in the pedagogic process. The pedagogical idea behind the project is true to the tradition of the active learner: the student learns through doing. Ten art students from the University College have been asked to investigate, analyse and activate the relationship between the public and the works of art in Moderna Museet and report their findings in PUBLIC SERVICE.
