Audial interpretations

During October, when Moderna Museet Malmö will participate in Music and Art Around, a different experience will be presented in the exhibition SPECTACULAR TIMES. As a separate track in our audio guide, visitors can listen to audial interpretations of ten selected works from the Moderna Museet Collection. What does an artwork sound like?

The audial interpretations have been produced by sound design agency Radja. This is how they describe the sounds:
– We started by creating our own interpretations of what the artworks look like, what feelings they evoke and the titles themselves. We have also looked at the material the artworks are made of. What happens if you play with it, if it moves? We then translated these interpretations into sound.

You can listen to audial interpretations between 9 and 31 October, by borrowing an audio guide at our reception desk. The audio guide is included in admission fee.
