This week marks the last chance to see The Photographer from Riga, photographer and film maker Maud Nycander’s documentary of her friend and colleague, Latvian Inta Ruka. The film, from 2009, is a depiction of a Latvia in change.

The Photographer from Riga is shown every day until Friday, April 18, at the Loading Dock at Moderna Museet Malmö. It is 58 minutes long and runs all day.

Maud Nycander has been working with film and television since the mid 1990’s. She did direct the acclaimed documentary Palme (2012). Inta Ruka is represented in the photo exhibition A Way of Life.
