Between exhibitions: The Tower

Inside a pier somewhere in the Malmö harbour, Nils Petter Löfstedt and Erik Vestman, in 2009 created a living room with white walls and parquet floors. If you knew the “address”, you could visit the room. Now the pier no longer exists in reality. But the project lives on through a film and photographs made by the two. 
 
Their newly produces film The Tower  is now shown at Moderna Museet Malmö’s entrance hall between May 20 and June 1. In this project, the film makers take a large advertising sign from the noisy city environment and position it  in a scenic idyll in the country. The plate then undergoes a transformation and becomes a… That we won’t say. See the film.
