Sketching marathon

More than 30 Swedish and international works from the early 1900s to today are shown in the collection corridor. Kids and grownups are invited to be inspired by works in the collection and join us there for an all-night drawing and sketching marathon. Our art educators are on hand with help and advice.

Pull out drawers in our “Building Blocks of Art” furniture, to see, feel and read about the materials artists have used to make the works in our collection.

Visions for a sustainable world

“Futures: Light, Heart, Hope” is a project by the Moderna Museet Youth Council. Together with staff at the Museum, the Council has selected 11 participants who work in various media to share their visions of a sustainable future. The project targets artistic, creative people aged 16–23.
