No One’s Dogs

One Hundred Years of Swedish Art from the Collection

14.2 1998 – 18.10 1998

Stockholm

One hundred specially selected paintings and sculptures focus on key moments in the development of modern art in Sweden.

The display begins with artists influenced by Symbolism in the 1890s and traces a line which includes the mainstream European art movements of Cubism, Expressionism, Primitivism, Purism and so on until the present day. It also shows the work of individually brilliant artists who have worked outside the mainstream. The exhibition takes as its title the name of Staffan Hallströms well-known painting of 1958.
