New works in “German Expressionism”

In December, the exhibition “German Expressionism: The Artist Group Brücke and the Beginnings of Modernism” will undergo a major refresh. All works on paper will be replaced, with 66 new artworks joining the exhibition.

Due to the delicate nature of paper-based works, such as drawings, woodcuts, and watercolors, these pieces can only be displayed for a limited time, up to three months. Therefore, 66 works have been replaced with new pieces by the Brücke group in the exhibition “German Expressionism: The Artist Group Brücke and the Beginnings of Modernism”.

Experience a fresh perspective on the bold and emotional art that helped define modernism! The new works will be on display starting Tuesday 17 December 2024, at 13.00.
