Moderna Museet at the Stockholm’s Culture Festival 2024

Bring your family along and try to become a living sculpture during Stockholm’s Culture Festival 2024! Sketch with pen and paper, use your body as material and try an idea in front of the camera.

What does it feel like to be a work of art? What can a sculpture look like? What art gets to be displayed? What or who decides what art is important?

These are some of the questions that the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan has spent a large part of his practice exploring. Cattelan is a conceptual artist, which means that thoughts, questions and ideas are important in his art.

During Stockholm’s Culture Festival we are inspired by Cattelan’s way of working. Visit us in Kungsträdgården between August 14 through August 18, 2024.

Don’t forget to also visit the exhibition “The Third Hand – Maurizio Cattelan and Moderna Museet’s Collection”.
