CIMAM Annual Conference in Stockholm 2–4 November 2018

CIMAM – The International Committee for Museums and Collections of Modern Art – organizes museum professionals from all over the world. The conference in Stockholm is attended by more than 230 delegates who will take part in lectures, participate in workshops and make site visits during the first weekend of November. The theme of the 2018 conference is The Museum in Transition presenting three subthemes dealing with globalization, the digital revolution and ethics of museums in the age of mixed economy.

Moderna Museet, Bonniers Konsthall and Magasin III Museum & Foundation for Contemporary Art are proud to host the conference and wish to welcome all delegates from close to 70 countries around the world to join the discussions and to visit some of the art institutions in Stockholm.

The conference will be documented, and parts of the material will be made available online next year.
